This project for qatara vil­lage reimag­ines the mur­al as a cul­tur­al nar­ra­tive rather than a dec­o­ra­tive sur­face. Using mosa­ic, it brings togeth­er sym­bols of qatari identity—desert, camel, palm tree, and tra­di­tion­al architecture—within a con­tem­po­rary com­po­si­tion.
Flow­ing curved lines cre­ate rhythm and uni­ty, while the camel serves as a cen­tral sym­bol of endurance and con­nec­tion to the desert. Sandy and creamy tones com­bined with turquoise evoke the dia­logue between desert and water, while the mosa­ic sur­face adds tex­ture and per­ma­nence.
By becom­ing a free­stand­ing archi­tec­tur­al ele­ment on a stepped base, the mur­al moves beyond the wall to func­tion as a visu­al land­mark that express­es qatari iden­ti­ty through a bal­ance of authen­tic­i­ty and con­tem­po­rary artis­tic vision.
