QATAR PROJECT

This project for qatara village reimagines the mural as a cultural narrative rather than a decorative surface. Using mosaic, it brings together symbols of qatari identity—desert, camel, palm tree, and traditional architecture—within a contemporary composition.
Flowing curved lines create rhythm and unity, while the camel serves as a central symbol of endurance and connection to the desert. Sandy and creamy tones combined with turquoise evoke the dialogue between desert and water, while the mosaic surface adds texture and permanence.
By becoming a freestanding architectural element on a stepped base, the mural moves beyond the wall to function as a visual landmark that expresses qatari identity through a balance of authenticity and contemporary artistic vision.
