This artis­tic exper­i­ment explores the expres­sive poten­tial of paint­ing and imagery on ceram­ic tiles as a mur­al medi­um that unites painter­ly sen­si­tiv­i­ty with mate­r­i­al per­ma­nence. With­in this approach, the ceram­ic tile is no longer treat­ed as a mere­ly rigid struc­tur­al unit, but is trans­formed into a liv­ing sur­face capa­ble of car­ry­ing free chro­mat­ic treat­ment, rich visu­al tex­ture, and a the­mat­ic flex­i­bil­i­ty that allows the artist to engage a wide range of sub­jects, at times approach­ing the spir­it of oil paint­ing.

The works reveal a com­pelling dia­logue between the sta­bil­i­ty of the mate­r­i­al and the vital­i­ty of the painter­ly ges­ture, where the mod­u­lar struc­ture of the tiles coex­ists with the flu­id­i­ty of the over­all image in a bal­ance that gives the work both aes­thet­ic pres­ence and dura­bil­i­ty. In this sense, the exper­i­ment presents a vision of ceram­ic as a con­tem­po­rary medi­um capa­ble of expand­ing the pos­si­bil­i­ties of mur­al art through the union of poet­ic expres­sion and last­ing mate­r­i­al val­ue.
